Manage your Favourite Numbers

Set up unlimited calls and text messages to 5 or 10 Canadian phone numbers on any network.

To include long-distance numbers, your Favourite Numbers service must be Nationwide.

  1. Log in to your TELUS account. Register if you don't have one.
  2. Select Manage your Favourite Numbers. Favourite Numbers are displayed on the right side of the page.
  3. Add or make changes to your current numbers. The following cannot be selected as Favourite Numbers:
    • Your TELUS mobile number
    • Your voice mail retrieval number
    • Toll-free numbers
    • 1-900 numbers
    • Numbers outside Canada

Your Favourite Numbers are updated.

Find out when your list change will take effect

When you:

  • add phone numbers to an empty Favourite Numbers list, the new list is effective immediately.
  • modify an existing Favourite Numbers list, the new list becomes effective within 24 hours.

If you have already modified an existing Favourite Numbers list during your billing cycle, further modifications will go into effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

To check your next billing start date, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your account. Register if you do not have one.
  2. Click the Billing tab.
  3. Click View e.Bill.
  4. Check the Bill date.

The next billing start date is the day after the bill date.

Check when your previous changes took effect

  1. Log in to your account. Register if you do not have one.
  2. Click the Billing tab.
  3. Click Account history.
  4. Click View one mobile phone on the account.

Your favourite number list changes and effective dates will display.
