TELUS and RIM release software updates on a regular basis to optimize the performance of your BlackBerry. To ensure that your BlackBerry device has the most up-to-date software refer to the table below.

If you are using BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) for your corporate email, contact your company IT administrator to perform the software upgrade. If you are using BlackBerry Internet Service to receive your email on your BlackBerry smartphone, it may be possible to upgrade it to the latest software.
- Select 'Options'
- Select 'About'
- Note the software version displayed on the third line of your smartphone and compare it to the table below to determine if a software update is available.
