Update your smartphone

Keep your smartphone running efficiently by using the latest available software.

Check for software updates

You can manually check for software updates. Connect to a Wi-Fi network before proceeding.

1. From the Home screen, tap Menu.
2. Select System settings.
3. Select About phone.
4. Select Software update.
5. Tap Check now for update.
   
   If the message You are using the latest software version for current OS displays, no updates are available at the current time.
6. Tap OK.
7. If an update is available, tap Download.
8. Tap Install.

Your smartphone is updated.
